If you live on one of our heat networks, you’ll probably know us for helping you with tariffs or supply issues. Beyond our day‑to‑day work, we’re also proud to play a small part in the communities we operate in.
Community is one of our core values. In 2025, our team got involved in a range of initiatives that support local charities, families, and environmental causes. For the first time, we’ve brought this activity together in a dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report.

How we gave back in 2025
From Jeff Bezos getting married to “6‑7” becoming the new slang phenomenon, our focus stayed closer to home.
We kicked off the year cuddling a few goats. But, the real reason our team visited Sacrewell Farm, a charity and working farm near our Peterborough office, was to help renovate the goat enclosures. In November, we returned to help prepare the site for winter.
In May, a friendly walking competition between our London and Peterborough teams had a positive impact. Through Treekly, we planted over 1,200 trees.
To support Family Fund, which helps families with disabled or seriously ill children across the UK, a small but determined group also took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
Back in London, six members of our team volunteered with The Felix Project. The charity distributes surplus food to families who need it most. With many households facing rising costs, our group was happy to help sort crates of carrots, cabbages, pumpkins, and parsnips.
Alongside these initiatives, we continued to uspport colleagues who wanted to give back in more personal ways. This included supporting Andy’s Man Club and donating blood.
Looking ahead to 2026
In 2026, we will continue our volunteer work. We’ll focus on building new community partnerships and finding more ways to make a positive impact in the areas we serve.
Keep your eyes peeled for our continued work at Sacrewell Farm and The Felix Project. At the same time, we’re planning new challenges for the team to get involved in.
Because being part of your community matters to us, whether we’re maintaining your heating system or giving time to local causes.
