Launching our first-ever CSR report to celebrate a year of giving back

‘Community’ is one of our core values, and it’s at the heart of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach. For years, our employees have been getting involved in causes they care about supporting their communities beyond their day-to-day roles. Now, we’ve captured all of that in one place: our first-ever CSR report.

    2025: A year to remember

From Liverpool FC winning the Premier League yet again to Katy Perry flying into space, 2025 gave us plenty to talk about. Through it all, our team stuck to our values and showed up rain or shine.

Kicking off the year with volunteering at Sacrewell Farm, a charity and working farm close to our Peterborough office, our team renovated the goat enclosures (and managed to sneak in a few cuddles with them too). They loved it so much that we went back later in the year to help prepare the site for the winter season.

May brought out everyone’s competitive streak. For every 500 steps walked through Treekly, a tree was planted. And with a friendly London vs. Peterborough office competition fueling it, by the end of the month we’d planted 1,266 trees.

For a small but mighty group, the walking didn’t end there, as they went on to conquer the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Family Fund, the UK’s largest charity supporting families with disabled or seriously ill children.

In London, six of us swapped laptops for crates of carrots, cabbages, pumpkins, and parsnips at Felix Project. This charity redistributes surplus food, a lifeline for many as over 100,000 London families have less than £3 a day to spend on meals.

Alongside the big moments, people across the business also continued to support causes close to their hearts, from donating blood to raising awareness for Andy’s Man Club.

From renovating goat enclosures at Sacrewell Farm to tackling the Yorkshire Three Peaks and supporting The Felix Project, our team embraced 2025 with energy, teamwork, and a commitment to giving back.

What volunteering projects do we have in store in 2026

The team didn’t sit still in 2025, and we’re not planning to slow down now.

This year, we’re building on that momentum with:

    • More volunteering days at Sacrewell Farm and The Felix Project
    • Fresh community partnerships
    • Collaborating with schools, colleges, and universities to introduce younger generations to low carbon energy and heat networks
    • A wider focus on sustainability in our offices

With this first report, we now also have a clearer structure for how we plan, measure, grow, and most importantly celebrate our communities.

Working together with our clients and partners

We know we can have an even greater impact when we collaborate. Throughout 2026, we’ll be exploring opportunities to partner with our clients, suppliers, and charity partners to make our activities go even further, so if you’ve got an opportunity for us, send it our way.
