The Pipit 500, Secure’s IHD, allows customers to view their consumption and can be plugged in anywhere within reach of the energy meter. Equipped with both credit and PAYG modes, Secure Liberty Connect gives you, as the heat provider, the flexibility to switch depending on the need of your customers.
Secure Liberty Connect operates on a SIM-based network, where data is obtained off-site using individual SIM cards in each meter. As you do not have to install a wired network, Secure is often recommended for the retrofitting of metering systems or where the building structure limits the ability to install a wired system.
Secure Liberty Connect and Pipit 500 are ISO 27001 certified, meaning the system is internationally recognised to deal with the overall management of information security. Meeting SMETS1 requirements too, Secure is fully capable of sending automatic meter readings as a smart meter, ensuring fair billing for customers.
