Your quarterly newsletter |
Happy New Year! In our January edition, we’re sharing a few timely updates to help you through the colder months. You’ll find a first look at the new Insite Energy website, answers to a question we hear most at this time of year, along with details on available financial support over the winter period and an update on heat network regulations. |
We’re kicking off the new year with a brand new Insite Energy website! It’s been redesigned to make it easier to find what you need, manage your account, and get answers quickly, especially during the colder months when your heating & hot water matter most.
Take a look around to see what’s new, including clearer information, improved navigation and quicker access to support. |
Your most frequent questions, answered |
We’re often asked by residents what our role is on their heat network, and which services sit outside our remit. We understand the confusion as, on heat networks, different organisations may be involved in billing, maintenance and building management.
To make things clearer, we've put together the following resource to give you a better understanding of what Insite is and isn't responsible for. |

Responding to your feedback |
Some residents have told us that their debt balance in the KURVE web-app isn’t always easy to find. When using the KURVE web-app, if applicable, your debt balance will be shown on the home screen, below the 'Top-up' button. As this information isn’t always immediately visible on this screen, we're working on an update to make the debt balance clearer and easier to see in future.
You can also see the split of any payments on your payment receipt. |

Helpful updates and resources |
If you’re worried about paying your energy bills this winter, our financial support and guidance help sheet brings together the options available to you in one place. It explains what support may be available to you, how to access it, and where to go for further help if you need it. |

With consumer protections coming into effect as of today, 27th January 2026, we’ve updated our blog with the latest information on heat network regulations. While there are no immediate changes to the service you currently receive, new rules are due to come into force over the next year. We’ll continue to share updates so you know what to expect and when. |
|
|
Underfloor heating (UFH) is relatively slow responding, so to keep the most comfortable temperatures, your UFH should be on constantly at a minimum acceptable room temperature. |
